Moving Update

The site will probably be moving to the new server this weekend. All existing content will be sort of halfway available through an alternate URL that I may or may not share. I'll be reposting content from the old site periodically so we can all take a trip down memory lane to a time when this site was regularly updated on more than just the blog.

This website is probably going to be moving to a new server in the next few weeks. I have no clue if it's gonna just be a copy over, or if I'm going to archive this data and make a new site. Suggestions are welcome, but I'll probably ignore all of them.

Maybe I do have enough skill to be a voice actor.

The other day at work I had a mom check her kids in. She mentioned how they had just gotten back from Disneyland. Of course this peeked my interest and I told her how I had just been there last year. After talking a little "shop" she told me how the first thing her kids asked to do when entering the park was .... go to the Playland. Wow. The lady couldn't believe that they were at DISNEYLAND and all they wanted to do was go to Playland. Also, after just 3 days they were asking to go home! So when they did get home the first place they stopped was (you guessed it) Playland. Wow I feel flattered, but it also makes me think "What do you expect from a 3 and 4 year old?" =0)

I've been searching for this song online for quite awhile. I don't remember why at this point, it was probably one of those "hey remember that song that had that phone blip part?" It was probably something like that.

I could have sworn the video I remember had them dancing on top of a giant telephone. But we all know about my memory

Whew, what a weekend! Among numerous outings we had our own "little adventure"... at the movies. No, not the little old lady again, but an old MAN this time. That man's name was Harrison Ford. Yes, a group of us went and saw the new Indiana Jones movie. We went on Friday, figured it would be packed (and working around everyone's schedules) chose a 10:00pm showing and got there an hour early to be safe. It was odd, there seemed to be just a few people there in general and we could've gone to the 9:30pm show no problem, but we had already bought our tickets so we waited it out. Kramer and I made our way to the theater to save seats while the others got popcorn and stuff. No one was in the theater. We still had 30 minutes until show time so we figured more people would fill in later. We were wrong. There were maybe 25-30 people total? Anyway, the movie finally starts and not having seen a single preview or read any reviews I was actually excited. That feeling didn't last long. To me, everything was building up to be quite thrilling until Indiana was actually "introduced" into the film. He turns around looking silvered haired and wrinkledâ�¦ then he spokeâ�¦ sloppily... around what appeared to be false teeth! I groaned realizing there would no doubt be a lot of "old man" jokes and puns. The movie carries on with some plot (?) an insane picture of Sean Connery that had us pooping, Shia Labeouf looking like a retard version of "The Wild Oneâ�� and it all went down hill from there so I'll jump forward a bit. Aliens, yes aliens, (fucking George Lucas can't get a hard-on without them), a sometimes magnetic crystal skull that can control ants, a sometimes gay acting Shia Labeouf that can control monkeys and the gophers are the size of Buicks! Seriously I wish I was making this stuff up but it's all true. At best this movie is funny BECAUSE it is so bad. It is the highest budget B movie I have ever seen! So, if you absolutely have to see this movie in the theater for whatever reason... GO TO A MATINEE. Sit with the little old lady in the back row, react with her and make comments to her during the movie and maybe if your lucky, she will share a sip of her Sunny D with you.

While browsing the internet one day I came across "funny pics of babies with beer". As I was quickly clicking through one non funny picture after another I came across one that made me stop and go "Hey, that's..." and then I realized I had no clue who the child was that I was looking at. As I looked more carefully, it occurred to me that "This baby looks like what our baby would look like if Michael and I had a child!" I then saved the picture so I could show Michael it later. When I did of course he thought I was crazy for thinking the kid looks like us, creepy for saving a picture of a child I didn't known and retarded because it was a child with a beer bottle. Anyway, time passed and I ended up show my â��pictures from the internetâ�� to Kim and Kramer just this last weekend. Yes, I showed them the picture of the "beer bottle baby" and explained why I had it. They thought I was crazy/creepy too *sigh. Whatever, I'll just let it go... until last night I remembered something. MyHeritage has a look-alike Meter! My mind started racing. I wonder if I could take a pic of me and one of Michael and put it up against that baby! So today I did just that!

R.I.P. Sega! Yes, it is true our beloved Betta has died... FOR REAL THIS TIME! If you are unfamiliar with our fish, he had a unique way of "sleeping". We often heard the phrase "Uh, your fish is dead." or as my 4 year old nephew once asked "Why is your fish always dead?" So this time when I looked at his bowl and dropped his food in, I wasn't too surprised when he didn't move right away. Then I lightly jiggled the bowl (as I have a tendency to do) and he still didn't move. Then I noticed he was sleeping more sideways than usual. Sure enough he was gone (damn, and I had just cleaned his bowl last week!) Oh well, he was loved and will be replaced soon. He was the longest living Betta we ever had and was only the 3rd one we ever had.

So long Sega, I hope you feel at home in the big toilet bowl in the sky.

He liked to sit.
